My jewelry is about color, pattern and shape with a modern aesthetic.
I frequently use polymer clay as the base. Nearly infinite patterns and shapes can be created with the clay. It’s like painting with clay. I cure the clay and make my own molds to fit the piece and provide depth for the resin. The resin is poured on top into the mold. Resin really makes the colors sing and provides a look almost like glass. Sometimes I will use paint on a resin base in place of clay. I am also exploring the use of the paint that drips from my acrylic paintings in my jewelry as it creates the most wonderful patterns.
I love jewelry. Always have. Rings are my favorite as they are so easy to wear. It doesn’t matter what kind of neckline or sleeve you are wearing. Just put one on and instantly add a statement. Be unique. Be bold.
